"If you're thinking of going out and buying, or staying in and
downloading a folk pop indie album anytime soon, then let me tell you
that EP's Trailer Park's third album; 'Scissors And Knives' may just
about have all the ingredients to satisfy ones folk pop indie desires.

From Sweden this band could possibly fool many into believing they are
an American band, however I also sense a pride in their Swedish roots,
so very much doubt that they would want anyone to make such assumptions.
Never the less, their style is that of some of America's finest and
greatest folk pop songwriters; Crosby, Stills, Nash and most definitely
Neil Young - as well as Simon and Garfunkel and Tom Petty.

Founded by Eric Palmqwist, the Trailer Parkers of the band are; Roben
Engzell, Roger Olsson, and Teodor Borgstrom. Looking through the pages
of their CD booklet, however, it appears that they have many other
people to thank, for their input of accompanying instruments on
'Scissors And Knives'. With full band sound through out the album, it is
reasonable to say that listening to the quality of song writing that
even if stripped down to the bare essentials; voice and guitar - the
songs are still strong enough to acclaim reward and get noticed, and I
am not at all surprised by the success they have gained so far. EP's
Trailer Park's 'Scissors And Knives' is a wordy, quirky, beautifully
odd, sometimes melancholy, organically rootsy songwriter style album,
and is available from the 20th October 2010 here in the UK."

EP´S TRAILER PARK live at the Reeperbahn Festival

HEY GERMAN MUSIC LOVERS!

We will do a show at the Reeperbahn Festival  - DON´T MISS OUT!

Hamburg 25th of September
Venue: Frau Heidi
Time: 20.30

THE REEPERBAHN FESTIVAL ABOUT EP´S TRAILER PARK:
It must be quite handy to grow up in a vibrant music scene.
The Swedish scene is a bit like a big family or circle of friends where you borrow an electric drill from one and lend your car to another.
Only, that instead of power tools, in music you provide guitar riffs to song A while your friends do the backing vocals to song B.
During the last 10 years a lot of musicians have participated on EP’s Trailer Park songs: Some big names like Christian Kjellvander or Björn Yttling, for example.
But at the heart of the project is EP himself, real name: Eric Palmqwist.
Apart from wearing hats, he’s got a passion for writing wonderful Folk-Pop songs.
He creates dense atmospheres without being too sad.
Sweden is probably the only country in Europe where you can play American-style Southern Pop.
In Sweden, where the land is wide and the people are as crazy as in Texas. And where everybody loves The Band!
