Allegedly Swedish Ep´s Trailer Park really hail from a dream of Topanga Canyon.
When songwriter Eric Palmqwist begins ” Hockey Skates And Butterflies” with ” we were young”, he could just as easily be singing Neil Young – circa ” After The Goldrush”, to be precise. With the occasional direct quote (check out the lick in ”Sound Of Love”) and the tip of a battered Stetson to Buffalo Springfield thrown in, this will appeal to anyone with a love of that laid-back but angsty post-Woodstock country, folk and rock. An unexpected gem of an album … and i still don´t believe they´re Swedish.
